Our primary goal is to inform the public about energy efficiency. From what they can do at home or at work to the programs available in Kansas City for energy efficiency, we want everyone to be as energy efficient as possible. It saves money, saves energy, and makes the world more comfortable and better place!
On the local level, Efficiency First Kansas City (EFKC) holds monthly meetings to discuss the advancement of local programs. EFKC's meetings happen in a variety of green, sustainable buildings across Kansas City. We also offer free workshops, seminars, or quick talks for neighborhood associations, business, or any group of people wanting to learn more.
On a national level, Efficiency First is a nonprofit trade association that unites the Home Performance workforce, building product manufacturers and related businesses and organizations in the escalating fight against global warming and rising energy costs. Efficiency First represents its members in public policy discussions at the state and national levels, to promote the benefits of efficiency retrofitting and to help our industry grow to meet unprecedented demand for quality residential energy improvements.
